To celebrate Space Week, Queensway held its very first themed library session, and what better topic to explore than space!

Our fantastic Year 6 Library Leaders welcomed a group of Year 3 and 4 children into the school library for an exciting session filled with reading, discovery and all things space. The children explored a range of space-themed books, shared fascinating facts and took part in a variety of fun reading activities.

To finish the session, each child received a handmade space-themed bookmark, lovingly created by our Year 6 Library Leaders, to take home and enjoy with their next reading adventure.

The session was a great success, and the library was buzzing with enthusiasm as the children immersed themselves in learning about space. It was wonderful to see our older pupils taking on leadership roles, sharing their love of reading and inspiring younger children.

Our Library Leaders are already looking forward to hosting another themed library session soon. We can’t wait to see where our next reading adventure takes us!
