On Wednesday 30^th September, a group of our Year 6 children took part in an exciting Young Leaders training day.

As part of their training, the children learnt how to confidently deliver and lead a range of fun, engaging games and activities aimed at younger pupils. They explored how to give clear instructions, demonstrate activities effectively and encourage others to get involved.

Later in the morning, our new Young Leaders had the fantastic opportunity to put their new skills into practice when they worked with children in Year 2. They led a selection of games and activities, demonstrating their ability to communicate clearly, work as a team and support the younger children.

We were incredibly impressed with how enthusiastic, responsible and encouraging our Year 6 children were throughout the training session. They showed excellent teamwork, confidence and leadership skills, and were fantastic role models for our younger pupils.

A huge well done to all of our Young Leaders, we can't wait to see how they continue to develop their leadership skills and make a positive difference across our school this year!
