Reception & Year 1 Allotment visit
On the 10th and 11th May, the children in Reception and Year 1 visited the Easington Allotments to link to their Science learning. The children had a wonderful time exploring the site and learning about what an allotment is and why people use them. They also found out about how different fruits and vegetables grow and when is the best time of the year to plant different seeds. The children even got the chance to spot some chickens as well as explore the pond which was home to some tadpoles. Thank you to everyone at the allotments for giving up your time to show us around, We would like to visit again soon!
