Science week 2023
Published 15/05/23Recently, the children throughout the school celebrated all things' Science! After a very special delivery from the farm, Queensway was excited to welcome lots of lovely chicks. The children in Reception and Nursery did an excellent job of keeping an eye on all the eggs as they hatched and they were excited to see the chicks grow throughout their time with us.
Science Oxford also returned to deliver some fun and engaging Science shows. The children in Key Stage 2 learnt about the sound of Science and were impressed by all the Science demonstrations. The rest of the children enjoyed learning about animals around the world in the ‘Amazing Animals’ Science show.
Science Week wouldn’t be complete without plenty of Science experiments. The children thought carefully about how they were going to plan and carry out their experiments and they worked really well as a team. The winning Science teams will be announced soon.
